The question I asked myself today: how can I make a backup of a Reporting Services report that is already deployed on the Report Server?
The answer to this question is fairly simple. Browse to Report Manager (http://servernaam/ReportServer/). Then click the edit button for the report (first click show details at the top right).
Then click ‘Edit’ in the ‘General’ tab. You can now save the report. Easy, right?

Option two is through SQL Server Management Studio. Connect to the Report Server and find the report you want to save. Then right-click the report and click ‘Edit’. You can now save the report.
